This is such a good idea, but my workplace has so many blackout days where we can't use PTO. It's a bummer. My friends who work in the corporate world also tell me that many places no longer observe federal holidays (especially in January, February, and October). Still! Mapping out trips gives our brain a huge boost, so I endorse this post!

Yeah I think it strongly depends on the company you work for. In past jobs I’ve had, I’ve had all federal holidays off but I think it really depends on the company and the culture!

Hell yeah, good for you! I took 35 the previous year, and was scolded heavily for that. So then I downshifted to 20, and then when that was an issue, I quit so quickly lol... don't offer something you can't actually guarantee!
