Hi. Today’s post is an extensive word vomit of everything I’ve done over the past month in NYC worth mentioning. It’s all over the place because I attended a crazy wedding this weekend and was a bit of a party girl as a result—I’ll likely have irreparable bunions from dancing in heels, and I inhaled enough secondhand smoke to kill a small lapdog. It was great.
I’m flying out on a late red eye to London tonight—I anticipate it’ll be the deepest sleep I’ll ever experience on a plane. Thanks to FlyFlat, we scored biz class seats at a very steep discount, so that’ll help significantly. Will write from the other side of the pond, and will try to post more on Instagram, if I can remember.
What I did this month
OOO Thursdays, every Thursday.
My husband and I have implemented this rule, and we have been loving it so far. Of course this is only possible because we both WFH and we both work for ourselves, but it’s nice to have something to look forward to on Wednesday, and then we can catch up on emails on Friday before heading into the weekend.
We use the time to explore NYC as much as possible, because there’s nothing better than being a tourist in your own city.
